Hi,my 5800XM is running on the v30 when i do the above *#0000# n check for updates the device throws a message telling that ‘No updates available’ and i know that the v40 with KS is out can yoy please tell me what i should do so that i can get the updates?I dont want to change my product ID

My phone have no new update, it was still v30, and my pc is window 7 i couldn’t update my phone from the nokia website. can any one help me to update to v40 ?

ofcourse you need a usb charger to charge your nokia phone over a computer or laptop, the usual usb that incase when you buy a nokia phone will ofcourse have no ability to do that, try to check on the net for more info..

latest update is v40.which released on 18th jan.use this code on mobile (it requires gprs),*#0000#.and then click option and then select check for updates

i have checked nokia software updater for new software for my Nokia 5800 XM, but i found that the latest software is 21.0.025 is that true or what??
